The Vale Heritage Centre Coalition is a group formed to convince the Vale of Glamorgan Council of the merits of a Vale Heritage Centre.

Our Mission Statement
'The Vale Heritage Centre Coalition seeks to prove the benefits to the town of Barry and the wider Vale of Glamorgan of a Heritage Centre, built as part of the regeneration of Barry; and to facilitate its creation with support from the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Welsh Assembly Government and other stakeholders.’

1: The VHCC has been in liaison with the Consultants commisioned by Vale of Glamorgan Council to carry out the Options Appraisal, and meetings with supporting groups and individuals are expected to take place shortly.
2: The VHCC Commitee have submitted a proposal to the Barry Regeneration Board for the establishment of a small scale 'proof of concept' Heritage Centre, as the first step towards creating 'Barry: Wales's first Heritage Town'. The concept involves heritage 'hubs' around Barry and the Vale linked by heritage transport 'spokes'.
